Combine the Nashik–Trimbakeshwar Simhastha 2027 with Sai Baba darshan at Shirdi—distances, a 5-day itinerary, darshan tips and the best order to travel.
Shirdi, home of Sai Baba's Samadhi Mandir, is about 90 km from Nashik, roughly 2–2.5 hours by road. Many Simhastha pilgrims add it to their trip, especially families travelling from far away.
The 5-day plan
Day 1: Arrive in Nashik
- Check in and attend the Godavari aarti at Ramkund.
Day 2: Simhastha snan and Panchavati
- Early snan at Ramkund, or a public ghat on snan days.
- Kalaram Temple, Sita Gufa and the Panchavati circuit.
Day 3: Trimbakeshwar and Pandavleni
- Morning darshan at Trimbakeshwar and a visit to Kushavarta.
- Afternoon at the Pandavleni Caves.
Day 4: Shirdi
- Drive to Shirdi, about 2–2.5 hours.
- Darshan at Sai Baba Samadhi Mandir, plus Dwarkamai, Chavadi and Gurusthan.
- Attend an aarti, if you can get a pass, then return to Nashik or stay overnight.
Day 5: Depart
- Depart from Nashik Road. Alternatively, Shirdi has its own airport and railway station (Sainagar Shirdi), so you can end the trip there.
Shirdi darshan tips
- The Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust manages darshan, and offers online booking for some darshan and aarti passes. Check the official website.
- Thursdays, weekends and holidays are the busiest days.
- Carry ID, and keep phones and bags in the official lockers where required.
- Beware of touts offering "VIP darshan".
Don't travel on an Amrit Snan day
The Nashik–Shirdi road will be heavily used during the Simhastha. Keep Shirdi for a non-snan day (avoid 2 August, 31 August and 11–12 September 2027).
Book it
Our Simhastha with Shirdi & Pandavleni (4N/5D) package covers this plan with stays, a private car and a coordinator.
