Which package is right for you?

Nashik & Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Yatra

Best for: Families and Shiva devotees. You bathe at Ramkund, walk Panchavati's Ramayana trail and spend a full day in Trimbakeshwar for Jyotirlinga darshan and Kushavarta Kund. It can be taken on an ordinary day, which makes it suitable for families with seniors and children.

Amrit Snan Special, Nashik

Best for: Devotees who want to experience an Amrit Snan. You arrive the day before, before the roads close, watch the akhara procession and take your dip at a designated public ghat once it opens. It is intense and unforgettable, and best for fit adults comfortable with crowds.

Simhastha with Shirdi & Pandavleni

Best for: Families wanting a complete Maharashtra pilgrimage. It adds a Shirdi day trip for Sai Baba darshan and the 2,000-year-old Pandavleni caves to the Nashik and Trimbakeshwar essentials, with a comfortable Luxury Camp stay.

What our Nashik Simhastha packages include

Every package includes accommodation, pick-up from Nashik Road station or Nashik airport, sightseeing by private car and a coordinator on snan day—essential when two towns hold Amrit Snans and traffic is controlled.

Plan around the monsoon

Keep buffer time for rain, avoid driving between Nashik and Trimbak on Amrit Snan days, and visit Trimbakeshwar on a weekday that isn't a Shravan Monday. See the 3-day itinerary, a weekend from Mumbai or Pune and the Jyotirlinga yatra.

Customise anything

Add Kaal Sarp or Narayan Nagbali rituals, Bhimashankar and Grishneshwar, Mumbai pick-up or group bookings. Every package is priced on request—see what affects the cost and ask for an exact quote.

Prices and dates

All packages are priced on request. Simhastha rates depend on how close you travel to an Amrit Snan, your stay and your group, so we quote for your exact dates.

Adapting a package

If you are coming from Mumbai or Pune, any package can start or end in either city for an extra charge. See Nashik Kumbh from Mumbai and Pune.

Built for a monsoon Kumbh

The Simhastha's Amrit Snans fall in August and September, so every package is planned around the rain:

  • Monsoon-ready stays only: camps with raised floors, waterproof roofing and drainage, with Monsoon-ready Cottages for the most protection.
  • Buffer time for road travel between Nashik, Trimbakeshwar and Shirdi.
  • Advice before you travel on packing, footwear and keeping documents dry.

See our monsoon packing list and rain and crowd safety guide.

What every package includes

  • A stay with approved operators under the Kumbh Mela Authority's tent city framework, confirmed with the exact camp and photos before you pay.
  • Breakfast and dinner (all meals on the Amrit Snan Special).
  • Transfers and sightseeing by private car.
  • A coordinator on snan day, who knows the routes, the crowd controls and the designated public ghats.

Not included: train or air fare, darshan and puja fees, and lunches.

The 2027 Amrit Snan dates

Date Occasion
2 August 2027 First Amrit Snan
31 August 2027 Second Amrit Snan (Shravan Amavasya)
11 September 2027 Third Amrit Snan, Nashik
12 September 2027 Third Amrit Snan, Trimbakeshwar

Camps near Ramkund for these dates fill first. Read what happens on each Amrit Snan.

Customising your package

  • Rituals at Trimbakeshwar: Kaal Sarp shanti, Narayan Nagbali or Tripindi shraddh with a purohit (guide).
  • Asthi visarjan at Ramkund (guide).
  • More Jyotirlingas: Bhimashankar and Grishneshwar (yatra guide).
  • The Brahmagiri trek to the source of the Godavari, in good weather (guide).

How booking works

  1. Send us your dates, group size and preferred package.
  2. We reply with the camp, photos and an all-inclusive quote, usually within a few hours.
  3. You confirm in writing, with the camp name, inclusions and cancellation terms, before you pay anything.
  4. Before you travel, your coordinator shares the route and timing plan for your snan.

What a day on a Nashik package looks like

  • The evening before: arrival, a briefing on routes and meeting points, and the Godavari aarti at Ramkund.
  • Snan morning: an early walk to Ramkund with your coordinator, your dip, and breakfast back at the camp.
  • Darshan days: the Panchavati circuit on foot, or a drive to Trimbakeshwar for Jyotirlinga darshan and Kushavarta.
  • Rain days: indoor temples, a longer rest, and travel planned around the weather.

Travelling as a group

Community groups and satsang mandals from Maharashtra, Gujarat and beyond often travel to the Simhastha together. For groups of ten or more we arrange group tents or cottage blocks, shared transport from Mumbai or Pune if needed, group meals and a coordinator for the whole trip.

Access and comfort

Tell us about any mobility needs, special diets or health conditions when you enquire. In the monsoon we pay particular attention to walking surfaces, covered walkways and how far the bathrooms are from your cottage.

Nashik or Trimbakeshwar as your base?

Most of our packages use a camp in Nashik, because Ramkund is the main bathing site for most pilgrims, the city has better road and rail links, and the Panchavati temples are close by. Trimbakeshwar is better if your trip is centred on the Jyotirlinga or a ritual there, but accommodation in the small temple town is limited, so book early. We can split a trip between the two, with a night in each. Read staying in Trimbakeshwar.

Eating during the Simhastha

Breakfast and dinner are served at your camp. Nashik is known for misal pav, a spicy sprouted-bean curry with bread, and its grapes and wineries; in the monsoon, hot vada pav and chai are the comfort food of choice. See our Nashik food guide.

Getting to Nashik

Nashik Road station has frequent trains from Mumbai, and Nashik's Ozar airport has limited domestic flights. By road, Nashik is about 170 km from Mumbai and a similar distance from Pune. See how to reach Nashik for the Kumbh.

The best moments of a Nashik Simhastha

The aarti at Ramkund under monsoon clouds, the green Brahmagiri hills above Trimbakeshwar, and the akharas' procession on an Amrit Snan morning are what most pilgrims remember. Our itineraries put you there at the right time.
